Short description of applicant organisation

Our school PAULA MONTAL is a catholic public and non profit school dependent of the Government of La Rioja for Primary, Secundary and Vocational training course education.

We have the following courses in Vocational Training Course:

In Basis Vocational Training: Basis Vocational training in Commerce and in Administrative.

In Vocational Training: ADMINISTRATIVE, NURSING AND PHARMACY ASSISTANTs

mision_vision_valores17As a catholic  educational Institution  we are involved, in relation and in contact with the families,  with the well-rounded education for our students from the first courses.

One of our main goals as an educational center is the integral development of our students through a plural learning program and we would like to open our future to the European framework. For that reason, we have opted for a quality education based on increasing language skills and promoting mobility.

We have our own project of Social Skills working in every level in our school from primary to vocational training course. We are interesting in promoting and developing this kind of skills could have a really and great possitive effect not only in personal aspect of the person but also in profesional matters. We use our programme to allow our student to realize that this skills are a key factor in their training and if  they want to have success in theis professional lives they must have developed them.

Our school wants to expand our horizons opening new doors for our students with an innovative, creative and charismatic point of view.

The goals we seek with our Educational style are mainly :

  1. To provided the students with different techniques (meditation, relaxation, visualization, contemplation , concentration…) so that they cm develop their positive aspect as well as their strengths to the maximum and , thus enhance their present and future welfare
  2. To increase self-knowledge and to improve self-esteem
  3. To aware of the influence that our self-image , the wat we express and non-verbal language has on others.
  4. To reinforce students cognitive abilities in their decision-making process.
  5. To improve student´s abilities to communicate assertively and to understand forgiveness as a way os personal growth and self-realization.
  6. To practice gratitude as a way to achieve a healthier life.
  7. To discover things in life that provide true happiness.
  8. To achieve a set of different social  skills which allow the students to have a good relationship with others especially those who we work with.
  9. To be aware of team-work advantages and learn how to do it properly.
  10. To promote values and positive attitudes towards the most disadvantaged groups in society

  Expectations regarding knowledge and skills to be gained

Meet new methodologies and work experiences carried out by public and private educational and social institutions in other countries applicable to our local context.

Develop new educational methods and improve existing ones, to ensure that our students are able to face and overcome social problems and challenges both in the academic professional field, as emotional personal one.

Create a network of international contacts of public and private sectors to work on improving education systems.

Establish lasting lines of collaboration to develop shared intelligence and knowledge and to optimize resources and skills.

Achieve greater professionalism in the international education field and achieve greater differentiation and quality level of excellence from other educational organizations.
